Donate

Transitous needs donations to keep its server infrastructure running in the long term. FOSSGIS e.V. is a non-profit association based in Germany. Besides Transitous, it supports other open GIS projects such as OpenStreetMap, which in turn benefit Transitous and the wider community.

Donations in kind (e.g. servers) can sometimes help us as well. Please get in touch with us (e.g. via Matrix) if you have something to offer.

Bank details

You can donate via the FOSSGIS PayPal donation button

or by bank transfer to the following account at Volksbank Darmstadt Mainz:

FOSSGIS e.V.
IBAN: DE93 5519 0000 0415 9380 26
BIC: MVBMDE55

Please include at least the word "donation" in the payment reference. Please avoid earmarking your donation for a specific purpose without consulting us first. Earmarked donations create extra work, as we must ensure the money is spent as intended. This can be tricky when a project has already ended or needs less than expected. For donation receipts in Germany, see the main FOSSGIS e.V. donation page.
